What's New

What's New

Every BodyTree update, newest first — the new skills, features, and improvements landing in the app.

  1. v2.7.1July 27, 2026

A little polish for every session

    • Logging a set or hold now plays a satisfying sound cue across strength, mobility, and recovery — and it respects your sound-effects setting.
    • Recovery session instructions now stay fully visible as you scroll, so you never lose track of the cues mid-set.
    • Sets you log by voice with Siri now play the same confirmation as tapping in the app.
  2. v2.7.0July 22, 2026

Life happens — your plan flexes with it

    • Train ahead or make up a missed workout on any rest day — your streak stays intact without spending a freeze.
    • New optional auto-advance moves you to the next exercise automatically the moment you finish one.
    • Rest-day mobility doubled its variety with 12 drills per focus area that rotate so no two rest days feel the same.
    • Recovery sessions now count toward your streak, and coming back after a break earns a double-XP comeback bonus on iOS.
  3. v2.6.0July 18, 2026

    Training and recovery, one plan

    • Recovery-aware training: opt in and BodyTree automatically goes easier on exercises that stress a recovering area — clearly labeled, and everything reverts when your plan completes.
    • If your morning pain check spikes, the Train home suggests going lighter that day.
    • Cleaner navigation: four focused tabs — Train, Tree, Flex, Coach — with the community feed now in your Profile.
  4. v2.5.0July 16, 2026

    Recovery front and center

    • Your recovery plan now lives on the Train home — phase, progress, and whether a session is due today, at a glance.
    • Opt-in recovery reminders that only fire when a session is actually due — tap to jump straight into your plan.
    • Recovery sessions leveled up: rest countdowns, set undo, pinch-to-zoom demos, and a proper end-of-session recap.
    • The Android Recovery dashboard is now as rich as iOS, and holds start hands-free with Siri on iOS.
  5. v2.4.0July 12, 2026

Start with a win — and train from a home that explains itself

    • New Day 0 start: do a real first rep and finish a short guided session before you answer a single question — you succeed first, then build your full program when you’re ready.
    • Train is now your home tab, and today’s session explains itself: why this workout, what each block is building toward, and why every exercise made the cut.
    • The skill tree puts your goals first — your goal branches sit up top with live progress, with the full catalog tucked below.
    • Warmups and cooldowns now match your level: gentler variations while you’re starting out, the full versions as you level up.
    • New Lifetime Pro option: pay once, keep Pro forever — alongside the monthly and yearly plans.
    • Smoother everywhere: accurate like and comment counts, a rest timer that survives the final set, and a batch of Form Check and workout reliability fixes.
  6. v2.3.0July 5, 2026

    Mobility sessions and clearer onboarding

    • Guided mobility sessions with a rest countdown, tap-to-preview demos, and a hands-free Siri hint for starting holds.
    • Pick more than one training goal during setup, with a clearer and more inclusive onboarding.
    • Every exercise and stretch cue re-checked against trusted references — 130+ copy fixes for clearer, more accurate coaching.
  7. v2.2.0July 4, 2026

    Safer community tools

    • Report or block any member, video, or comment — blocked members’ content disappears from your feed, comments, and profiles everywhere.
    • Review and unblock anyone anytime from a new Blocked list in Settings.
    • A new animated launch splash that draws the skill tree and flows into sign-in (iOS).
  8. v2.1.0July 3, 2026

Live Form Check, recovery, and a rebuilt progress dashboard

    • Live Form Check uses on-device pose detection to auto-time your holds, with an optional real-time form skeleton overlay.
    • New recovery and rehab tools: a metrics dashboard, guided sessions, and next-morning pain check-ins that keep you progressing safely.
    • Progress Analytics rebuilt as a Pro command center with per-set CSV export and server-tracked personal records.
    • Weighted progressions, a week-strip calendar, Siri shortcuts, and a game-feel pass with richer haptics and celebrations.
  9. v1.13.0June 21, 2026

    Your data, your controls

    • Download all of your data anytime, right from the app.
    • New privacy controls, including an analytics opt-out toggle.
    • A feature request board so you can suggest and upvote what we build next.
    • A simpler one-question-per-screen onboarding flow.
  10. v1.6.0May 1, 2026

    Audio cues for your holds

    • The hold timer now plays a tone when a hold starts and finishes — so you can train by ear, even in silent mode.
    • Cleaner workout controls and reliability improvements under the hood.
